An interdisciplinary approach to celebrate the legacy of world famous thinkers,authors,scientists and philosophers. Students spoke lines on the famous inventions/books/theories proposed by them.It was great to see such confidence and enthusiam among tiny buds.
Books were arranged for prediction of the cover page and students were asked the reasons behind picking up a particular book of their choice. Individually each child was asked to come and express his/her views on the cover page of their book.Example:- I chose this book because it has shapes on the cover page and i like to read about shapes.
Students were asked to encircle the punctuation they come across in the given paragraph.
It was great to see the enthusiasm amongst the children to be a weatherman for a day.This activity not only enhanced their confidence in delivering the report but also followed added many weather related vocabulary words.
Morning assembly was conducted by class 1 on the topic 'Plastic Bag Day',which is observed on 12th July every year.Students tried their best to spread awarness on 'say no to plastic bags' as they harm our environment.
