Travel vocabulary

An inter-house activity where all students shared their experience of travelling with the help of an extensive range of travel words like destination,hired,check in,take off and many more.It was a great way to grasp the new words.

Representing numbers on 100 square

Students represented numbers on 100 square board using tens strip and ones boxes.

Space workshop : Session 1

First session out of the 4 workshops was held today.

TOPIC( Session: 1) - A DAY ON EARTH (90 MINUTES)

Young children understand day as the presence of sun in the sky and night as moon and stars.They wonder where the sun hides during the night.Why does it seem to move around the sky from morning to evening? Why does day and night occur all year round? This workshop knitted all these missing threads and revealed the reason behind all these phenomena. For the very first time they got introduced to the fact that all places on Earth do not experience day and night.
At the end of the session, each child was given A day on Earth kit along with the educational resource booklet.
