Monthly Activity - Sing Along

Students presented the songs along with their friends swaying and tapping to the beats of the songs.It was an amazing  performance by all the kids.Kuddos!

Happy Janmashtami

Janmashtami is an annual Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna,the eighth avatar of Vishnu.
Students enjoyed "rocking the cradle"Of Lord Krishna.This story is the theme of numerous reliefs on Hindu temples across India, as well as literature and dance-drama repertoire, symbolizing the joyful innocence of children, that love and life's play is the manifestation of god.

Class 1- The rocks collection

A variety of rocks were shown to the children to give them hands on experience to observe texture, colour and shapes of different rocks.It was great to see the enthusiasm amongst them to grasp this interesting concept of rocks all the way with their names and some common uses.

Independence Day and rakhi celebrations

All days have specific semblance to the pattern of life we lead.When it is Rakshbandhan, it is the bond of love , care and protection that brothers and sisters promise to each other.

How about living it in another way as well!

The students of Entire segment of the school( class P.P to 8th) tied a ribbon to the Tree Trunk today strenghtening their bond with nature. Little enthusiatic children along with the principal Ma'am Mrs Rashmi Raj Biswal and Jyotsna Ma'am together with the teachers of the class tied ribbons to the tree trunks in groups. They hugged the tree and said' You can trust us, we would care for you and look after you'.
Children enjoyed the activity and understood the relevance of it.

Students also enjoyed the kite flying with cotton thread,swaying along with their kites in the direction of wind,enjoying with the peer group and learning the symbolic significance of National festival.Here's wishing everyone a very Happy Independence day & Rakshabandhan.
