Learner's of foundation stage explored different objects around us in the classroom made from different materials like metal,glass,plastic,cloth and wood.They were called in a groups to see and memorize the names of different objects and enhance their vocabulary and memory.
Learner's of foundation stage were shown the cotton cloud experiment which signifies rain.Materials required were cotton,blue painting colour,water and a dropper/spoons.We put some cotton in the plastic cup and then poured little amount of blue coloured water,once the cotton which signifies cloud was heavy and had absorbed the water,it started raining.
Students of foundation stage made a Windsock to learn about the windy weather and also explore it's direction.
It was a treat for the eyes to see those bubbling faces ready to get their cars rush the track. This activity was conducted to incorporate the concept of forces,each child was called individually to race the car on the designed track and compare with friends about the final point where the car reached(stopped) and why did it stop at different points for each child.It was because of the force applied by each child in the form of pushing the car.
