Students celebrated Gurpurab with great fervour and gaiety. The celebration started with a prayer to memorialize the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Sikh guru and the founder of Sikhism, followed by the chanting of "Satnam waheguru” thus making the whole ambience serene and pious.The students took out “Prabhat Pheri” followed by kadha prasad,which was distributed in the class to emphasise the importance of Gurpurab.A festive spirit and unbeatable excitement could be seen among the students. The celebration culminated by a small presentation by Pre Primary students on Global Handwashing day.
