Listening and speaking skills activity -Sound Hunt was conducted.Where each child was called individually by the Judge Ms.Nancy Jain,a sound clip was played ,which the child has to guess followed by they were asked about different sources of sound around us.They all performed really well.

Learner's were taken out to express gratitude to all the helpers in the school(teachers,guard,sweepers,helpers and doctor) to meet and say 'Thank you 'for keeping our school and surroundings clean.They have been told about how they work tirelessly to give near,clean and safe environment.This activity helped them foster the skills of appreciation and thankfulness.
The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism of more than 200 years. It was on 15th August 1947 that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the Country. India's gaining of independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tiresome one, witnessing the sacrifices of many freedom fighters, who laid down their lives on the line.
As a part of curriculum subtopic of learning about sounds around us, learner's made a cup shaker using some kidney beans and diposable cup. It was fun shaking the cup and analysing the kind of sound it made (Loud/ soft).
Students were given an opportunity to explore different instruments in order to reinforce the concept of loud and soft sounds.
