The vibrant spirit of Punjab came alive in our class today as we celebrated Baisakhi with immense zeal and joy. The highlight of the day was a hands-on origami craft, where our little ones turned into mini-craftsmen. With focused expressions and colorful sheets of paper, the children learned the traditional art of turban folding. There was a visible sense of pride as they donned their handmade paper turbans, learning about the significance of the headgear as a symbol of self-respect and courage. The celebration reached its peak when the rhythmic beats of the Dhol filled the air. Matching the high-octane energy of the music, the students broke into a spontaneous Bhangra dance. From perfectly timed "balle-balles" to energetic shoulder shrugs, the kids fully immersed themselves in the folk traditions of Punjab. It was more than just a celebration; it was a beautiful day of cultural learning where our students connected with the roots of Indian heritage through creativity and dance.
