Students engaged in a "magic painting" exercise designed to reinforce number recognition through an exciting hands-on experience. The setup involved writing hidden numbers on white sheets of paper using wax crayons, which initially remained invisible to the naked eye. Each child was then called forward to gently dab the paper with a cotton ball dipped in water-based paint. Because the waxy crayon naturally repelled the liquid paint while the paper absorbed it, the hidden numbers magically revealed themselves on the page, allowing the enthusiastic children to immediately identify and read each number aloud.
