The students of class Early years 1 to Class 2 cambridge,gathered for a special morning assembly dedicated to celebrating World Literacy Day.
The event aimed to highlight the transformative power of education and the importance of reading and writing in building a brighter future.
The morning commenced on a serene note with the chanting of our morning prayers, filling the atmosphere with peace and positivity. Following the prayers, students shared a reflective Thought of the Day, setting an inspiring mindset for the hours ahead.The program then shifted focus to the theme of the day, as students shared insightful facts about the history and global significance of World Literacy Day, reminding everyone that literacy is a fundamental human right.Adding a touch of creativity to the morning, a few students took the stage to recite a poem dedicated to the joy of books and learning.
To round off the event, the audience was treated to expressive short storytelling sessions, where young storytellers brought narratives to life, beautifully illustrating how words connect us all.It was a wonderful morning that not only showcased our students' diverse talents but also renewed our collective commitment to lifelong learning.
